SOURCES & CONTEXT.
Information Overload publishes independent commentary. Radar articles link to the reporting, documents or official notices behind their factual claims, with a source-check date. Follow those links for the underlying evidence and its limits.
A source-check date is a snapshot, not a promise that a developing story has stopped changing. Claims attributed to a source remain that source’s claims. A company announcement, an allegation and an established fact do not get the same hat.
FACTS, COMMENTARY & SATIRE.
The skeptical take, Nadsat slang and satirical flourishes are Information Overload’s commentary. They are not quotations, evidence or inside knowledge. Factual assertions should stand on the linked sources; uncertainty and disputed claims should be identified.
X Opportunity Radar is the website’s article collection. The Droog Report is a separate newsletter on Substack. Topic sections can include both, with each collection labeled. The newsletter index is incomplete where its coverage notice says so.
GENERATED ILLUSTRATIONS.
Radar artwork is AI-generated editorial illustration and is captioned that way. It is not documentary photography, a screenshot of an event or evidence that a depicted scene occurred. The film-inspired brand artwork is a tribute; no affiliation with the referenced films or their creators is implied.
CORRECTIONS & CHANGE NOTES.
Policy effective October 3, 2026. A material factual correction belongs on the affected Radar article in a dated correction note explaining what changed. A substantive new development should be labeled as an update, with its date. The original publication date stays visible.
Small spelling, formatting and broken-link repairs that do not change the meaning may be made without a note. A disagreement with the take is different from a factual error, but both are welcome at the editorial contact below.
For The Droog Report, the original issue on Substack is the publication of record. Any material correction should be noted there, and the website’s indexed copy should be refreshed to match.
